It’s been a whole year since we first held these little sweeties! A whole year of sweetness, a whole year of learning and stretching and growing, not just for our little ones but for us as mommies too. I had the privilege of meeting Hannah when her little girl and my little boy were both about 2 months old. It’s been fun to learn to know each other better, and recently for our husbands to get introduced and find a shared passion for hunting. When we talked about doing a shared birthday party, the one theme that came to mind for Hannah was pink and camo, and that’s what we when with. I had fun throwing in some of those earthy touches of sheds and evergreen along with some pink. Hannah made some yummy cupcakes with camo icing (and I made just a few that were gluten free – pictured below, for the ones who are restricted) We had a fun evening with friends in the park and left the little birthday pals dig into their cakes. They were both pretty cautious and didn’t make a hug mess of it, but hey, it was their own personal version of cake smash, right? 🙂
